Description
Kamiko of the Nine, one of my OC, in her kitsune form and wielding Fireclaw, her trusty weapon. She's a master at many forms of close combat and fire spells and I wanted to depict that, as well as her brash personality. I'm quite happy how it turned out ; I've been trying for a while to find a coloring technique that fits my anime-style lineart and I think I'm getting pretty close to my goal. Let me know what you guys think!

i have to say..im surprised with the additions to detail that you put on here as opposed to her line art, it got her brashness across nicely. I'd still tinker with it if it was me.. but part of the reason i never post is my constent tinkering so ..yeah..counter productive i suppose XD any way, nice to see her colors and personality. though i feel like her face isnt.. well..kitsune enough...its almost like the idea of her face is an after thought.
just my opinion, but there you go. about her sword two.. i know shes a ninja.. and there for you are limited on weapons, but the only problem with a katana is a lack of a good strong silhouette about it, they all blend into each other if you reduce them to line art or shadow shapes. but like i said, what can you do really.
as for the effects? i love the fire effect and the background is nice and .. "raging inferno" ish..
